GuangDong Kelon Mould Co., LTD (KMC) a modernized mould manufacturing center, was established and brought into production with investment of 120 million(RMB) in 1995. The center, staffed with over 400 skilled professional workers and over 80 excellent engineers came from nation-wide areas for researching, developing designing and manufacturing all kinds of precise mould including die, plastic injection, vacuum forming mould and foaming mould. It covers about 14 thousand square meters, more than 2500 sets of all kinds of moulds are designed and manufactured every year.

To serve customers best, KMC insists the 3-H (i.e. high-start-point, high-tech.-level and high-quality-service) principles all the time. A mould engineering system, which is an integration of CAD/CAM based upon a database, has been set up center so that the latest technology in the world can be used in time. And with the continuing development of computer software, KMC is developing into a computerized & Integrated Manufacturing system (CIMS).

        To satisfy the need of high-precision-machining. KMC has introduced a series of advanced equipment made by the worldwide famous regions such as Japan, USA, and Europe, which include sixteen medium and small sized CNC machines, two large scale machining centers, seventeen CNC EDM and ten Wire-cut EDM machine (speedy and slow), one CNC super-precision coordinate grinder and one CNC optical curve grinder, etc. At the same time, there are special Metal and Plastic factory for tryout mould. In 1995, KMC awarded the title of “Advanced equipment Enterprise in Asia” (Products and Mould Development Technology) by Hong Kong Production Promotion Bureau in 1995.

To get high-quality mould, KMC also introduced many supper-precision inspecting tools & instruments from abroad as 3D Laser Scanner from England MITUTOYO and 3-Dimension measuring Instrument and Optical Projector from Japan, and the Rapid Laser Shaper from USA. Therefore, the center can develop/design/manufacture the mould with sample given by customers within the shortest time. In addition, the center has equipped some Auto-Mould-Test facilities to do the last inspection before a mould is sent out from the factory.

Since bring into production, KMC has made great progress by means of staff training and perfected the basic management step. By now, KMC has the ability to process moulds for almost all kinds of productions such as household appliance, kitchenware, office gift and automobile etc, it can not only succeed in satisfying the need of Kelon Group’s high-quality products but also serve the other customer with high quality mould in short time. KMC is stepping into a professional, marking, high-level, international corporation gradually. It has cooperated with many clients from Asia and Europe and America and Middle East for all kinds of moulds. We cooperated with GE, MSI, Rubbermaid, Tupperware, Whirlpool, Darkin, Hitach, Toyota, Nissan, TOTO, Franke, Arcelik, Electrolux, Universal, Polytron, Dorf Clark, Emersun, Dawlance, Elecotrstar, Fresh, OPD, Al-Shakia and so on.
